The Executive Fire Team programme
teaches your team to work effectively in crisis situations.
|
1. Understand
the individual's team strengths
A high performing
team has a balance of different team roles. Using the Australian
developed Team Management Profile, the members of your team learn
about the strengths that lie in their different approaches to
team tasks.
2. Learn
from the professional firefighters
Firefighters
know how to make a team work when the heat is on. Fires don't
wait, and neither do business problems. Your team will learn
to use the individual characteristics of its team members to
resolve problems in a hands on, real time environment. Using
the facilities of the NSW Fire Brigades, your team will participate
in a series of team problem solving activities.
3. Discover
the secrets of team communication
Different
team members need information presented in different ways. Some
will just want the bottom line. Others will need all of the information
and time to consider it, before they can engage in the discussion.
Learn what to do and say when needing to communicate with both
the creative and the practical members of your team.
